Katrien Wayenberg is a passionate entrepreneur, an experienced language trainer and communication coach. Born and raised in Belgium, she studied Literature and Linguistics at the University of Louvain (Belgium), Trinity College (Dublin, Ireland) and at the University of Edinburgh (Scotland, UK). A Fulbright scholarship enabled her to move to Seattle, USA and proved to be a significant start of her professional career. The experience to guide and train adult learners in a foreign language has turned into a passion that has not left her until today.
For almost 15 years now she has been living and working in Germany, leading her 2 own companies. With her team of 35 qualified and experienced language trainers and staff at Natural language solutions GmbH, she supports and empowers business leaders and experts. With customized language solutions she prepares them for their international challenges, reduces their fears of speaking and encourages them to put communication before perfectionism! Her customers are medium-sized Hidden Champions and Global Players as well as substantial large corporations. In her seminars and talks she is a tireless advocate for clarity in words, transparent structures and unusual, efficient communication strategies, which she immediately practises with her participants and listeners. Whether the client needs to present internationally or wishes to deal with complaints diplomatically, the language solutions presented by Katrien Wayenberg and her team are always individual.
Her second business, Natural business solutions, was founded as a spin-off and offers workshops that are centered on strong corporate and personal metaphors. This way, teams and organizations have the opportunity to improve in terms of team-building, change and conflict management.
Katrien Wayenberg is also an ardent Soroptimist, past President of her local chapter (Hannover2000) and a former mentee of the SID mentoring programme. As the Vice President of SI LEAR, she now uses this experience to forward the next mentoring programme for the upcoming generation of future female leaders.
