Lori Blair joined the SIA staff in 1999 and currently serves as the senior director of program services. In her role, Lori develops and implements SIA's Dream Programs including Live Your Dream: Education and Training Awards for Women, which annually provides more than $1.7 million to about 1200 women who are obtaining additional education and training in their quest to make a better life for themselves and their families. She recently directed the design and launch of SIA's new global program for girls, Dream It, Be It Career Support for Girls. In addition, she manages grant programs that fund local-level Soroptimist work and disaster relief and recovery for women and girls around the world. Lori supports Soroptimist clubs in their efforts to deliver the SIA mission and also engages a large and growing on-line community through LiveYourDream.org. Lori is also a member of SI/Center City Philadelphia. Prior to joining SIA, Lori worked as a research assistant investigating topics such as genocide and civil war in Bosnia and Rwanda, and the voting patterns of women in the United States. Lori holds a master's degree in political science from the University of New Mexico where she specialized in international relations and Latin American politics.
